Growing up as a child, I always smiled. As the years go by, I realize that I have changed. When I laugh it comes from the heart..when I cry it's from deep within my soul. Nine months since mom's death and I'm finally smiling because I expect to be a better woman based on her mistakes. I must keep on forgiving; I must have reverence for my God instead of contemplating riches and fame. I must reach out to others without expecting any form of monetary reward. I must become more and more like Christ. Despite her faults; my mother is to me a beautiful soul-she knew she was not perfect so she called on God everyday. Who am I to judge you mom-I just can't understand why you were scared of loving me-your own daughter,DJ Mona-Lisa. Please watch my stories: youtube.com/user/thesexymonalisa

the eternal celebrity

There are lone cemeteries,
tombs full of soundless bones,
the heart threading a tunnel,
a dark, dark tunnel :
like a wreck we die to the very core,
as if drowning at the heart
or collapsing inwards from skin to soul.

from 'nothing but death' by pablo neruda.

my thanks to viki olner for sharing this poem.
