From the album Canned Wheat in 1969, this version of No Time has an extended intro and ending. With some great added riffs and a very psychedelic sound, this version came out a few months before the better-known version of No Time from the American Woman album.

The day I got home for summer break I was very proactive.

I surprised myself, and even my parents by doing something completely out of character. I decided to make a list of summer goals. Yeah, I know having goals for the summer isn’t that weird, but for someone like me who basically is the definition of procrastination it was a big step. The list is comprised of simple things such as working out more, reading, cleaning out my car, hanging out with friends, and not spending all my money. Needless to say the parents were impressed, especially my very goal oriented father.

Any healthy nineteen year old should be more than capable of doing all the things I have written down. But since I’m back at my old job working a mere four days a week I’d been incapable of leaving the house on my days off. The mind is willing but the body is unable. Up until recently I’d been sleeping well past noon everyday, only getting up to eat, play Zelda, or go on the Internet. I’d cut myself off from the world. The only Facebook notifications I’ve been getting are from Menace Beach and the only living creature I’d been hanging out with was my eleven-year-old dog Fluffy. And yes her name is Fluffy.

My goals, though simple, were a lot harder to complete than I’d imagined. But I think falling into this realm of scheduled laziness is not unheard of for people my age. You go from a really stressful spring semester to literally having no responsibilities. It’s like a drug. The idea of being able to relax indefinitely is so nice to think about and even feels good for a couple of days. But then it sucks you in and you just become this lazy boob who shies away from the sun and is on the brink of full on agoraphobia. Why leave the house when you can find everything you need, besides companionship, in your fridge?

So feeling frustrated and honestly kind of sorry for myself I decided it was time for a much needed change. No more lying around all day in the same clothes I wore to bed. I was going to do something with my time and make my goals a reality. Making this realization was the first step. I spent a few more days at home before contacting my friends. Since then I’ve volunteered, began working out on a semi-regular basis, and even read two books. I know it’s not much but I’m kind of proud of myself for breaking the cycle.

What I learned from this whole first summer back from college experience is that being lazy gets old. Yeah, it’s okay to have a lazy day every once in a while, but when that becomes your life something’s wrong. Breaking a habit is hard. But for me it was well worth it. I’m no longer a lazy shmuck and I’ve actually started to feel a lot better about myself.

news.yahoo.com/security-experts-casey-anthony-needs-safe-...

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Online and elsewhere, Casey Anthony has been vilified, and security experts say if her lawyers are smart, they'll arrange for her to be in a house protected by bodyguards for maybe weeks in case one of those who have threatened tries to make good on a death threat.

A jury acquitted Anthony last week of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, but found her guilty of lying to law officers investigating the girl's disappearance in 2008. Many believe she got away with murder and some have wished the same fate on her that prosecutors say befell her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

When Anthony is released from jail Sunday, it will probably be in the middle of the night, and her lawyers should arrange for several SUVs with tinted windows to pull up to the Orange County Jail, the experts say. Then they should whisk her away to a safe house.

"I'd tell her to go to a big house in the middle of nowhere," said Dallas-based security expert Stuart Diamond, who has worked for celebrities and federal agencies. "That would be the safest thing for her. It's more of an effort for someone to really follow through on a threat."

Anthony's legal team said Friday it received an emailed death threat with a doctored photo of the 25-year-old woman with a bullet hole through her forehead. The threat was forwarded to authorities.

One her attorneys, Cheney Mason, said Anthony is nervous about getting out of jail, and he isn't taking any chances: "We are all vigilant and I am armed."

She was sentenced to four years in prison, but with good behavior and nearly three years already served, she will be out this weekend.

Anthony still faces a civil lawsuit. Attorneys for a woman who claimed Anthony defamed her had tried get her deposed before her release from jail but a judge ruled Friday that the deposition would take place in October. Also on Friday, Anthony filed notice that she will appeal the four misdemeanor counts of lying to law enforcement.

Details of her release are being closely held, and the sheriff's department is not making the time public beforehand.

"This will not be a usual release," jail spokesman Allen Moore said in an email. "Due to the high-profile nature of this case and intense, emotional interest by the public, appropriate measures will be taken to release the individual into the community in such a manner so as to preserve the safety of the individual and public."

The Orange County Jail has had very few high-profile inmates. Former astronaut Lisa Nowak, who was convicted in a bizarre attack on a romantic rival, walked out the jail's front door, where a horde of media pushed and elbowed their way toward her, shouting questions and trying to snap photos. In another case, Noelle Bush, the daughter of then-Gov. Jeb Bush and niece of then-President George W. Bush, received special handling after her arrest on drug charges. Secret Service agents were worried she could be targeted.

Once she is out of jail, Anthony will not get special treatment beyond the protection any person would get if there were a credible threat, law enforcement authorities said. (Earlier this week, authorities said they had not received any credible threats, but they did not immediately return a call Friday about the new email.)

"She's like every other resident or citizen here," Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said. "We're not going to be her personal security. Her attorneys will make appropriate decisions or prepare for her own security after that."

She should be let out of jail at "an offbeat time like 3 or 4 in the morning," said Daniel Meachum, an Atlanta lawyer who has represented football star Michael Vick and actor Wesley Snipes.

Ideally, security experts said, she should go to a safe house. She may have to arrange backup locations, in case the address is discovered.

She probably won't be going to the home she had shared with her parents before her arrest, in part because the trial fractured their relationship. Defense attorney Jose Baez told jurors that Anthony's father, George Anthony, molested his daughter and covered up his granddaughter's death after Caylee accidentally drowned in the family pool. George Anthony has denied the abuse and cover-up allegations.
"Most of the time you can always go home, but she doesn't have that option," Meachum said. "Baez has to have somewhere for her to go for her to get herself together."

Anthony's security may be hampered by her limited financial means, though many have predicted lucrative book and TV interview deals. Two security guards around the clock could cost ,000 a week, experts said.

The best thing she can do for her safety is keep a low profile, said Mark Geragos, a Los Angeles lawyer who has represented Winona Ryder, Michael Jackson and Nicole Ritchie.

"She needs to lay as low as possible until the next big scandal or trial," Geragos said. "It's not time to do a photo spread. It's not time to sit down with Diane Sawyer. None of those things. There is no reason to do any of that."

.....item 1).... Yahoo! News ... THE CUTLINE ... NBC News brushes off report of Chris Hansen affair

By Joe Pompeo | The Cutline – Thu, Jun 30, 2011

news.yahoo.com/blogs/cutline/nbc-news-brushes-off-report-...

NBC News doesn't seem much concerned with an irony-clad scandal that appears to be enveloping one of its "Dateline NBC" correspondents.

The network personality in question is Chris Hansen, best known for entrapping pedophiles on the erstwhile MSNBC reality series "To Catch a Predator."

Now, after shaming many an alleged pervert in hidden-camera sting operations, Hansen has allegedly been caught on video cheating on his wife.

The National Enquirer claims to have footage of the 51-year-old Connecticut resident and father of two wining and dining Kristyn Caddell, an anchor at a West Palm Beach, Fla., NBC affiliate station.

The full Enquirer story is not available online, but the U.K.'s Daily Mail recaps some of the details: "Last weekend he was recorded taking Miss Caddell on a romantic dinner at the exclusive Ritz-Carlton hotel in Manalapan, before spending the night at her Palm Beach apartment. Secret cameras filmed the couple as they arrived at the hotel for dinner and then drove back to her apartment--where the pair left, carrying luggage, at 8 am the following day."

Reached for comment, an NBC News spokeswoman said: "We don't comment on National Enquirer stories."

The brusque remark seems meant to undermine the lurid supermarket tabloid's credibility. But the Enquirer's Hansen item recalls another infamous case of celebrity infidelity that the tabloid successfully unearthed: John Edwards' affair and love child with campaign videographer Rielle Hunter.

When the Enquirer put forth the earliest rumblings of that scandal in 2007, Edwards--and the national media--dismissed the reports.

But the Enquirer stuck with the story, which turned out to be true and ultimately brought about the end of Edwards' political career. The paper was later floated as a potential Pulitzer contender for its reporting.

Evelyn Nesbit led a most exciting and public life. Amid scandal resulting from her mother's desire for her to become a famous celebrity, she inconsequently became the inspiration for Charles Dana Gibson's "Gibson Girls" and consequently became the main witness in a murder trial that resulted from her alleged adulterous affair of the heart.

In the midst of this fame, she gave birth to a son who would become a celebrity in his own right as an aviator during World War Two. It is all referenced by Wikipedia, always a great read, leading one's interest from one site and link to another--for hours, if one allows for such an activity. RLH
